MIAMI GARDENS, FL – September 10, 2026 – All-Inclusive Preventive Care, a primary and preventive care clinic in Miami Gardens, is now an in-network provider for select Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida plans and networks. The status took effect September 1, 2026, at the end of a credentialing process the practice says took nearly three years.
The agreement includes several Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida plans and networks: BCBSF, Health Options, Preferred Patient Care, NetworkBlue, Traditional (PPS) and BlueSelect. Patients enrolled in participating plans may now access eligible covered services at the clinic under their plan’s in-network benefits, subject to individual coverage, deductibles, copayments, coinsurance and other plan terms.
“For us this is about access,” said Evelyn Rodriguez, APRN and owner at All-Inclusive Preventive Care. “We’ve had patients who wanted to stay with us but couldn’t afford to pay out-of-network. This removes that barrier.”
Network status can affect what a patient pays for covered services. An in-network provider is part of the group of doctors, hospitals and other providers that contract with a health plan. In-network copayments and coinsurance usually cost less than out-of-network amounts for covered services, according to HealthCare.gov’s glossary. Actual costs depend on the member’s specific plan and benefits.
The announcement comes ahead of the Health Insurance Marketplace’s annual open enrollment period, which runs Nov. 1 through Jan. 15 each year, according to HealthCare.gov. Rodriguez said the clinic wanted patients reviewing coverage this fall to know it is now an in-network option for participating Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida plans in Miami Gardens.
“A lot of people pick a plan in December and don’t think about their doctor until January,” Rodriguez said. “We wanted this in place before that happens, not after.”
Coverage and network participation vary by plan, so patients should confirm their specific plan and provider status with their insurer before a visit. Florida’s Division of Consumer Services operates an Insurance Consumer Helpline at 1-877-693-5236 for consumers with insurance questions and concerns. Patients moving from a cash-pay visit to using Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida coverage for the first time should bring a current insurance card and photo ID to their appointment.
The clinic provides primary care checkups and sick visits, annual physical exams, well-woman and gynecological exams, men’s health services, bioidentical hormone therapy, medical weight management and IV vitamin therapy. Coverage for individual services depends on the member’s plan and applicable benefits.
HealthCare.gov states that all Marketplace health plans and many other plans cover certain recommended preventive services without charging a copayment or coinsurance, including when a member has not yet met the yearly deductible. These benefits generally apply when qualifying preventive services are received from an in-network provider, but coverage can vary and $0 cost is not guaranteed in every case. Patients should confirm their benefits for preventive care and other services directly with their insurance plan.
Chronic disease management is also part of the clinic’s primary care services. More than 40 million Americans have diabetes, about 1 in 8 Americans, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. CDC data also show that nearly half of American adults have high blood pressure. Both conditions can require ongoing care that may include regular medical visits, laboratory testing, medication review and changes to a treatment plan over time. For patients whose plan includes the clinic in-network, covered follow-up services are processed according to the plan’s applicable in-network benefits and requirements.
The clinic’s extended hours are part of the same access push, Rodriguez said. All-Inclusive Preventive Care sees patients outside standard nine-to-five hours because many of its patients work full-time and cannot easily take a weekday appointment. The clinic also serves patients in both English and Spanish, another part of its effort to reduce practical barriers to care for Miami Gardens patients.
Public patient reviews have also referenced communication and appointment coordination at the clinic. In a Jan. 30, 2026 verified Zocdoc review, Tori C. described the experience as “Quick and easy” and noted “very clear communication each step of the way.” In an April 22, 2025 verified review, Magela R. said the office contacted her before her appointment and described the front-desk process as “very smooth and very easy.” The reviews predate the new Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida network status and do not address the new insurance participation.
“A lot of our patients are the ones taking care of everyone else. Kids, parents, a full-time job. Their own health visit is the first thing that gets pushed off,” Rodriguez said. “Being in-network with a plan this many people already carry, on top of hours that actually work for them, is how we try to close that gap.”
The clinic will continue accepting its existing insurance plans alongside the new Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida status, including Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, Medicaid and several Florida marketplace and Medicaid managed-care plans, along with self-pay and financing options. Because plan participation and benefits can change, patients should confirm their specific coverage before receiving services.
Patients can confirm currently accepted plans through the clinic’s insurance page or by calling (305) 200-3141.
