The Solitude is a 2,274-square-foot Craftsman rambler located at Firefly in Eagle Mountain, Utah. The home was created by DTJ Design, with interiors by Chymia Design.
Designed for main-floor living, The Solitude features vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, an open kitchen and gathering area, and a primary suite with custom millwork and a spa-inspired bathroom. An optional 2,221-square-foot basement provides additional living space.
The home also includes an extended covered deck connecting the interior living areas with the surrounding outdoor environment. Together, these elements contributed to a design centered on natural light, practical use of space, and long-term livability.
Three Years, Three Award-Winning Homes
2024: The St. Moritz
The St. Moritz began the three-year award streak. The European farmhouse design includes more than 4,100 square feet, an open-concept main floor, a U-shaped kitchen, a main-level primary suite, and three additional bedrooms upstairs.
2025: The Northstar
The Northstar received the Judges’ Award in 2025. The 3,725-square-foot modern farmhouse-inspired design includes indoor and outdoor gathering areas, a gourmet kitchen, a primary suite with two closets, an optional accessory dwelling unit, a sunroom, and a loft.
2026: The Solitude
The Solitude continued the streak in 2026. At 2,274 square feet on the main floor, the home emphasizes efficient use of space, accessibility, natural light, and functional design.
Although the three homes differ in size and style, each was recognized by the judges for its approach to residential design and construction.

The Solitude is available at Firefly, a master-planned community in Eagle Mountain located approximately 40 miles south of Salt Lake City and 30 miles north of Provo.
