In recent months, the firm has supported and hosted several community-focused efforts, including Rolling with Rhino’s 3rd Annual Fundraising Dinner, an annual fundraiser benefiting St. Christine Christian Services in Detroit, Alistair’s Sunrise Open Charity Tennis Tournament, the Brain Injury Association of Michigan’s Spring Tribute Legacy Society Dinner, the firm’s 2026 “Stay Alert Stay Alive” Distracted Driving Awareness Scholarship, a fundraiser in support of Michigan Supreme Court Justices Megan Cavanagh and Noah Hood, and an upcoming July 21 fundraiser in Ann Arbor supporting Jocelyn Benson’s campaign for Governor of Michigan.

As part of its support for grassroots community organizations, Christensen Law sponsored Rolling with Rhino’s 3rd Annual Fundraising Dinner in March. Rolling with Rhino is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of veterans and veteran families through event tickets, motorcycle ride trip assistance, donations, and support for veteran-focused organizations and activities.
At the fundraising dinner, Christensen Law attorney Jeremy Knox and PIP Specialist Julie Ronald spent the evening connecting with others, supporting a meaningful cause, and taking part in a night filled with raffles, a silent auction, food, drinks, and conversation. The event reflected the power of community members coming together to support veterans and their families.
Christensen Law also recently sponsored an annual fundraiser benefiting St. Christine Christian Services, a Detroit nonprofit serving the Brightmoor community through its client service pantry, soup kitchen, and outreach services. St. Christine Christian Services works to alleviate hunger and promote human dignity by providing meals, groceries, and compassionate support to individuals and families in need.
The event was especially meaningful to the firm because Christensen Law trial attorney Dustin Hoff serves on the board of St. Christine Christian Services. His involvement reflects the firm’s belief that community service is both personal and ongoing. Each year, he leads participation in the organization’s 2-day Thanksgiving event where employees help distribute food staples, turkey and trimmings, as well as serve local residents a hearty traditional holiday meal. “It is especially rewarding to offer our help at a time that can be challenging for many in the community,” says Hoff.
The firm also supported Alistair’s Sunrise Open 2026, an annual charity tennis tournament held June 5–7 at Bloomfield Open Hunt in Bloomfield Hills. The tournament held special meaning for Christensen Law Managing Partner Sarah Stempky-Kime and her family. Named in honor of her son Alistair, the event celebrated hope, medical progress, community support, and the resilience of families navigating the realities of childhood epilepsy. Players, families, tennis professionals, supporters – and Alistair himself – all gathered for a weekend of competitive play and fundraising in support of a cause deeply personal to the firm.
Christensen Law also sponsored the Brain Injury Association of Michigan’s Spring Tribute Legacy Society Dinner, an annual event recognizing individuals and organizations that have made meaningful contributions to the brain injury community.
