Valley Cottage, NY – Supplynet Inc., a Defense Industrial Base contractor providing supply chain solutions to the United States defense sector, has achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 following an independent assessment by an accredited CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO). The company received a perfect score of 110 out of 110, confirming full implementation of every security control in NIST SP 800-171 Revision 2 with zero findings.
CMMC Level 2 certification requires defense contractors to demonstrate compliance with 110 security controls across 14 control families, covering access control, audit and accountability, incident response, system and communications protection, and other domains. The certification is a prerequisite for bidding on Department of Defense contracts involving Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) under the DFARS 252.204-7021 clause, with phased enforcement underway across the defense acquisition process.
Supplynet completed its assessment without a single Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) item outstanding, placing the company among a small number of small business DIB contractors to achieve a clean certification at the time of assessment.
The certification effort was supported by Jaiglo LLC, a Washington, DC-area managed security services provider (MSSP) specializing in CMMC compliance for small defense contractors. Jaiglo served as the External Service Provider (ESP) for the engagement, responsible for the System Security Plan, CUI enclave architecture, security monitoring infrastructure, and the compliance documentation framework.
“As a small business competing for defense contracts, proving that we can protect sensitive information to the highest standard is not optional. Achieving a perfect score validates the investment we made in building this program from the ground up,” said Rob Berkey, President of Supplynet Inc.
“A perfect 110 reflects disciplined execution across every control family, from access control through system integrity. This result demonstrates that small DIB contractors can meet the same security bar as large primes when the program is built correctly,” said AJ, Principal Consultant at Jaiglo LLC.
Supplynet’s CMMC Level 2 certification is valid for three years and positions the company for continued participation in defense contracts requiring CUI handling. The company plans to maintain its security posture through continuous monitoring and annual assessments in partnership with Jaiglo LLC.
