WASHINGTON, Sept. 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Vogel, Slade & Goldstein, LLP announced today that Gwen Stamper, a prominent litigator and experienced former federal prosecutor, has joined the firm.
Gwen brings a depth of experience in complex corporate investigations and litigation. Prior to joining Vogel, Slade & Goldstein, Gwen served as a federal prosecutor in the Fraud Section, Public Integrity Section, and Appellate Section of the Department of Justice's Criminal Division, where she handled over 100 investigations worldwide into white collar crime, including corporate corruption, kickbacks, and fraud. She was tasked with leading the investigations into some of the Department's most sensitive, high-profile matters.
Gwen has extensive litigation experience, having tried over ten jury and bench trials in state and federal courts throughout the country, argued appeals of complex constitutional issues before numerous federal courts of appeals, and written over twenty United States Supreme Court briefs.
At the Department of Justice, Gwen also served in several leadership positions, including as the highest-ranking career official in the Criminal Division and a key advisor to the Deputy Attorney General. She has a deep understanding of the priorities and decision-making at every level within the Department.
Gwen is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as Managing Editor of the Michigan Law Review, and of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where she obtained a Master's Degree in International Relations and Economics. She clerked for the Honorable Beverly Martin on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and for the Honorable Wilma Lewis on the U.S. District Court for the District of the Virgin Islands.
