Prior to joining Ludwin Law Group, Perez represented international claimants under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA) and successfully litigated Defense Base Act (DBA) claims to final judgment. Before her work in international law, she was an Assistant Public Defender, where she fearlessly defended clients charged with first-degree felonies. The Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers awarded her the prestigious Hat Trick award for securing three consecutive not-guilty verdicts.
Perez also served as an Assistant State Attorney, where she prosecuted both misdemeanor and felony charges. With a strong command of trial advocacy, she has successfully tried over 30 jury trials to verdict. She attended Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating in the top 10% of her class, and was recognized for her academic excellence and service to the legal community.
At Ludwin Law Group, Perez will specialize in handling matters related to the Defense Base Act. She looks forward to contributing to the firm’s commitment to providing exceptional legal services and supporting clients through their legal challenges.
